I have been taking pictures since I was a little girl, but professionally for over 11 years. At first I shot a lot of families and kids. But then a friend of mine asked if I would photograph the birth of her first baby. Of course I said YES! And after that I was hooked. I am just in awe of the beauty and strength that mothers and fathers have while bringing their baby into the world and I decided that was something that needed to be captured to look back on forever. I love babies! So with that passion I started specializing in Labor and Delivery and Newborn Photography. I took classes and got certified specifically in Newborn safety. I am certified with the Academy Of Newborn Photography!  

Hello!! My name is Laura Peterson. I live in Grand Island Ne. I was born here and I love it. I am married to a wonderful man named Aaron. We have been married for almost 12 years. We have 2 daughters, Charli (7) and Atley (4). We have one pup named Oakley. We live on the edge of town on a few acres and have apple trees in our back yard and horses next door!

My favorite place to be is home, but I do love to see new things! I love to bake and a cup of coffee is usually in my hand! I am very laid back and easy going. I love to have friends over and hang out by the fire-pit out back.
